Your trust is the asset. This page explains, plainly, what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Waitlist: name (optional), email, interest area, IP, and timestamp.
- Partner / press inquiries: name, company, role, email, phone, and the message you send.
- Merch & tickets: billing details handled by our payment processor — we never store full card numbers.
- Site analytics: aggregate, privacy-respecting metrics (page views, referrers). No cross-site tracking.
How we use it
- To send you what you asked for — lineup, tickets, partner deck, press materials.
- To run the festival — production, sponsor reporting, customer support.
- To improve the site and our outreach.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't share marketing lists with sponsors or third parties.
- We don't run third-party ad-tech tracking on this site.
Subprocessors we use
Hosting & database, email delivery, payment processing, and customer support tools — all bound by data processing agreements. The current list is available on request to privacy@slmfestival.com.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it at any time by emailing privacy@slmfestival.com. We honor CCPA, CPRA, and GDPR-equivalent requests regardless of your location.
Retention
Waitlist records are retained while you're subscribed. Purchase records are retained per US tax and consumer-protection requirements (typically 7 years). Inquiries are retained 24 months.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
